Ways To Start A Wall Street Blog

By Martha Phillips

If investment and finance is what you're interested in, you may create a Wall Street blog to provide information on these. That way, you could document your knowledge and you could also share this to others who would also love to learn about it. Starting this is easy. You may choose to have your own domain or you may just settle for a subdomain at blogging sites. If you're not yet ready to spend, the latter is your best option.

The first thing you need to do is to define your niche. Determine what scope of the market you would like to tackle. Do you want to address those who would like to invest in the stock market? Are these the people who are new to investing or those who are currently trading? Perhaps, you know a lot about starting a business in the area. Or maybe about looking for a job. You have to define what types of articles you'd be posting.

It is likely that you have already an abundant resource stored in your brain. This is great especially if people already know you to be an expert in the field. If you're just starting out and would like to share what you know, it is best if what you write is backed by information from experts and established finance sites. You may quote short snippets from articles or site them as references for further reading.

Write a short introduction about yourself. This does not have to be an exhaustive curriculum vitae with all of your experiences. Prioritize the most relevant and recent ones that will help people determine how credible the information you write about is. Do not pretend to be an expert if you aren't. Share you'are just chronicling your journey to more knowledge in the field.

Many blogging instructional articles guide you into writing your pillar posts. This has been true for years and still true up to this time. Pillar posts are long articles that establish your knowledge in the field. These are the first ones that you should be posting. Prepare five to ten of them and start sharing them.

Prioritizing your longer posts does not mean that you do not need shorter articles. These are needed to provide tidbits of information. Keep in mind that many online readers prefer concise articles. With these you can include tips in the industry, new trends and your personal experiences. Keep them relevant to the topic and fight the impulse to always write about what you had for lunch during a business meeting.

If you already have enough number of posts, you can begin you link building activities. Look for relevant articles and share your opinion on them. Be sure to include a link to an informative article that you have written. You can also participate in forums. Some websites allow you to share your thoughts as an expert in exchange for exposure and bio.

There are a number of ways on how you could grow you blogs. Just keep in mind that initially, you will just have a number of visits even if you have poured a lot of effort into your articles and link building. Just continue what you are doing and you will notice that your numbers will increase. You could also observe established websites and learn from their strategies.
