Readying Self Before Flying Abroad And Erasmus Housing

By Alyce Powell

So you decided to study in Europe. It has been your all time dream ever since you are still a little girl. So you have studied hard on school and you participated in different activities that will make your credentials all good and credible. For this situation, you do not only need to get an accommodation in the Erasmus housing Porto. You also have to prepare yourself for the following requirements

Before you go it is important that you get in touch with the former students of Erasmus. You need to follow some tips that they can give so that your stay will be more memorable. If there is anyone who can give you the right answers for all your questions, that is going to be them and only them.

You need to decide if you want to study or you wanted to work. Or, if you wanted to do both so that you can support your financial needs especially when you are not a fan of asking for money from your parents. If you want to do both, then you need to apply and never feel dejected when you got rejected.

Make sure you have a valid passport before you go and fly. To save you the hassle, the money and the trouble, you need to renew your passport whenever it will reach the expiration date in just a few days. This is going to be the gate pass so you can enter the place with a real identity and name.

It is also important that you have the visa with you especially when the country is requiring it for entrance. There will be special requirements that will be needed so ensure you have submitted all of them. And just prepare yourself for the interview that will take place between you and the embassy.

Also, do not forget to keep copies and original of your documents. You can leave an original at home while you bring the other original with you. And provide a photocopy so that you can immediately replace any document that you lost while you are on travel and at the middle of adjustment. After all, these documents are very important for you in a foreign land.

Bring a lot of ID photos as they are needed for a lot of student cards, bus passes and etc. Not necessarily that you have to print a hundred of them. Twenties will do especially when you are planning of applying for bank accounts, health insurance and jobs so you can provide for yourself.

Ensure you are bringing with you a mobile phone. With that, you can contact anyone that can help you while you are in a foreign city You must also have enough money that could provide you until you have adjusted in the place already. Obviously, this is going to be harder and a hell lot of a challenge.

And lastly, you have to look for an available space in Erasmus housing Porto. You have to put your comfort and convenience in front. You can share a space with others too so you can share the monthly rent with another person. Just make sure he or she is worthy of your trust.
